We are Jani Teeter and Pierre Trudeau, Level III Coastal Vacations Directors with the Coastal Synergy Group and founders of Jade Peaks Mentoring.

You can learn more about each of us farther down the page, but we would like to share with you how we came to meet each other and why we have merged our respectively successful Coastal Vacations Businesses.

It just happened that Jani’s Coastal Vacations business grew so rapidly that she found herself able to re-locate to her dream horse farm in St-Lazare Quebec in April 2006. It was purely co-incidence on a live CSG Q&A call that Jani learned that “Pierre from Quebec” was actually going to be her neighbour, less then 5 minutes away. Shortly after moving, we met for the first time in person, and got together for a coffee meeting at a local café. We found that our business philosophy, personal development interests and goals were strikingly similar- and we both had the same problem: providing quality support and training to our team members on a regular and consistent basis and being there for follow ups as often as requested for everyone working on their directors release while managing busy family and personal lives.

One thing lead to another, and we have now developed the art of training and mentoring new Coastal Vacations business owner to a new level. The Truth About Coastal Vacations, Best Home Based Business Bonjour! I’m so glad you’re visiting the Jade Peaks site and are taking time to get to know me.

I see this as an indication that you’re serious about doing your due diligence and demonstrate the desire to know everything there is to know about this exciting business opportunity therefore allowing you to evaluate if it can give you what you’re looking for at this point in your life. I meticulously researched Coastal Vacations and the Coastal Synergy Group when I was looking for a Home Based Business back in 2004 and I expect the same of you. I’m sure it will be also very important for you to choose who you want to work with in the home based business of your choice and if you’re on my personal story page, you probably want to know who I am, where I’ve been and what Coastal Vacations and the Coastal Synergy Group have done for me. Well here it goes…

Let’s start with the mid sixties when I arrived in this world in the vibrant city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I grew up on the country side and was educated in both of Canada’s official languages, French and English. Having always been fascinated by human behaviour, my college years were focused on humanities. While in college, I started to work in the airline industry because I was thirsty for exploring the world. What started as a job to pay for my education, turned into an 18 year career that brought me to the 4 corners of the world. America, Europe and Asia were among the continents I travelled as a Corporate Instructor for the airline. It’s after moving to Toronto that my two wonderful daughters were born. Following 9-11 2001, the airline industry went through many challenges which is when I found myself without employment. The transferable skills and experience I had acquired allowed me to keep working in that same industry but I found myself without any challenges and felt something was missing.

Since childhood, I’ve always been intrigued by methods of earning revenues. Like many youngsters, I operated a lemonade and cookie stand, carried out general home maintenance contracts and used my dad’s snow blower to acquire snow removal contracts in my neighbourhood.

It always felt natural to be in business for myself yet our education system shows us otherwise and guides us to go to school and find a good job, so that’s what I did. But that entrepreneurial spirit was always surfacing from time to time. I did look at many opportunities and tried some however none of them really worked nor delivered what they promised. They were either lacking an attractive product, difficult to duplicate, offered no support or required you to find your own prospects. But despite my lack of success in my attempts, I still was convinced that my path was to become an entrepreneur. So at that point in my life where my airline career came to an end, it was time to take advantage of the situation and make a change. Let’s start a business! So while working a full time job at the airport, I started looking for a sound opportunity. They say that when the timing is right, it’s not you that find the opportunity but rather the opportunity that finds you. And that’s when Coastal Vacations found me.

I couldn’t believe my eyes nor my ears when I stumbled across Coastal Vacations!

It had everything the other businesses lacked: the product with mass appeal, the automated duplicable system, the thorough training (believe me I know, I was an Instructor, remember?), the outstanding support and the marketing system that finds, explains and follows up with your prospects. Wow! That’s exactly what I was looking for! A real, sound and ethical home based business where my efforts would be rewarded and recognized. A home based business where I make my own schedule and make myself rich rather than the Boss. No more commute, no more traffic jams, work from home and be able to say yes when the kids ask me to go play tennis with them. But wait, there’s got to be a catch, it’s too good to be true! So like a good entrepreneur, I did my due diligence and looked at the business from every angle.

I sifted through every piece of information I could put my hands on, I attended live business calls and listened to the website recordings. I looked for the hole in the boat but never found it. So I made a decision (some people have difficulties doing that, they’re afraid of change), I embraced change and I started my Coastal Vacations Home Based Business with the Coastal Synergy Group.

What a ride that’s been! I started in September 2004, I acquired my Directorship two short months after that and then, four months into my business, I was able to quit my full time job and work my business full time from the comfort of my home.

Of course I started to use my travel package to get great discounts on dining, hotels, condos, I even tried the complimentary stays and spent only $63.16 for 6 nights of accommodation in Florida, with Disney. Being a cruise fanatic, I went on a Carnival cruise where I saved 78% off the brochure price. Just that in itself is quite amazing to me but that’s not all. In addition to finding the business model I was looking for, I also found the most incredible group of people to work with I ever came across; the Coastal Synergy Group.

The friendship, camaraderie and genuine desire to help I found with the Coastal Synergy Group is one of the key reasons why we succeed in Coastal Vacations. The synergy of people that are there to support you is not found anywhere else hence why we say: “you’re starting a business for yourself but you’re never by yourself”. I have learned so much from the Coastal Synergy Group and have grown so much personally through that synergy that I wish I had found them much earlier. And now comes the time to take everything I learned from the Coastal Synergy Group and combine it to my love for helping others and transferring knowledge through Adult Learning Principles. It’s my passion both because I love to Coach and Mentor people but even more so because it helps people reach for their dreams.

The Coastal Synergy Group and Coastal Vacations allowed me to start reaching for my dreams in September 2004; that’s when the timing was right for me.

My journey into Coastal Vacations and the Coastal Synergy Group actually began a long time before I joined and purchased my platinum membership in September of 2006. I was very much looking forward to being able to enjoy and share all inclusive vacations around the world with my family and friends and even more excited about earning those $9705 commissions right out of the gate!

Sure enough, my very first sale as a released director was a platinum sale! I simply followed the guidance of my director, tapped into the additional training and resources offered by the CSG and Board or Directors and let my MAC system work for me. My business took off, and I have experienced more financial and personal success in a much shorter time then even I expected.
I grew up in Southern Ontario just north of Toronto. I have recently moved to St. Lazarre, Quebec. My parents were both professionally employed and very busy working seemingly ALL of the time. I was able to enjoy family vacations all over the world- my parents would attend professional development conferences in all sorts of exotic locations. This developed my love of travel, different cultures and customs and most notably my love of very good food. It also made me very independent!

Thus, when I'm not very busy being the single parent of my very young daughter or working my business you can usually find me with my head in a cookbook or better yet in the kitchen. I also have an active interest in gardening, dogs and horses. My business has recently allowed me to pursue my lifelong dream of living on a gorgeous horse farm in a beautiful and affluent area.

After a fatal accident took my mothers life in 2002 and left me with a long term disability I began searching for a way to live a meaningful life. I have been trained in healthcare and while I was previously making a very good income in a hospital administration capacity I was physically unable to return to a high stress, high politics, long hours and emotionally and mentally demanding role as a medical legal liaison. Not to mention that I found myself blessed with my daughter along the journey and as a committed attachment parent. I was absolutely desperate to find a solution that would allow me to meet her needs without sacrificing my parenting ideals.

I was, and am ABSOLUTELY unwilling to live on the at best meager "disability benefits" for the rest of my life and even more determined to raise my daughter with a quality of life both material and emotional that I was not able to enjoy during childhood. When I first learned about Coastal my monthly income was a mere $1300 per month and my rent was $900. I was living a full 66% below the poverty line, and going to the food bank weekly. The creditors called constantly- I had over $100,000 in student debt.

I discovered the Coastal Vacations opportunity after reviewing and joining several other home business opportunities in the past very unsuccessfully and I was very skeptical. I read and researched everything I could and spoke to many different directors and groups within the Coastal opportunity itself before I had the very good fortune of discovering the CSG and my director almost by accident while seriously considering another opportunity.
